Become a GBA
As part of the GloBull Ambassador program, you will have the opportunity to share your experience and knowledge with students who are thinking about studying abroad, or those who have already decided and are in the process of preparing to go abroad. In addition to quality conversations about overseas destinations and issues, you will get to experience the study abroad industry from the advisor's standpoint, network within the study abroad community, and add a great experience to your resume!
Program Commitment
- GloBull Ambassador training session
- Two (2) General body meetings
- Two (2) Social Events
- Join and participate in one committee
In addition to the requirements above, all GloBull Ambassadors will be expected to participate in events hosted by Education Abroad throughout the semester. Attending these programs and activities will count towards total commitment hours.
We host over 50 events per semester so there should be ample opportunities to achieve your goal below:

Committees
Scholarship Committee:
Primary role is to become a resource for all things regarding scholarships. The individuals
in this committee will be responsible for educating themselves on study abroad scholarships
in order to further relay the information to prospective students. They will be expected
to attend scholarship info sessions/workshops to better prepare themselves. They will
be available during tabling events and other GBA events to answer questions.
Outreach Committee:
This committee will be responsible for establishing and maintaining networks between
the GloBull Ambassador program and USF student organizations to increase awareness
of resources available to students for education abroad and to encourage involvement
in program events. Additionally, this committee serves to promote the image and reputation
of the GloBull Ambassadors program.
Diversity Series Committee:
The individuals within this committee will be responsible for developing GloBull Ambassadors
signature diversity series events. Among the committee, individuals will decide on
which diversity series they would like to lead and then those individuals can further
work with other GBAs outside the committee to successfully develop their chosen diversity
series event.
