Sixteen years ago, 2008 graduate Nick Schuyler was in a boating accident in the Gulf that killed his three friends. He was the sole survivor. Now, a documentary and Hollywood film will tell the tragic tale that made national headlines.

Patience pays off for USF walk-on turned record-breaking wide receiver Sean Atkins
Sean Atkins didn鈥檛 receive much attention coming out of high school as a 5鈥10鈥 wide receiver. He joined the Bulls football program as a walk-on, but he never stopped believing in himself. During this time, he balanced a full-time job to pay rent, his studies and early morning football practice, and he eventually earned a full athletics scholarship.

The donation comes from Joey Redner, the founder of Cigar City Brewing in Tampa, and his wife, Jennifer. Through their gift, the Redners will be supporting USF students hoping to learn the ropes of the growing brewing arts business and for their love of Bulls football, having followed the team since it was founded in 1997.
