TA Teaching Orientation

Fall 2025 TA Orientation will be offered online.

  • Course Name: IDS 5921 Teaching Assistant Orientation  CRN: 93021

You must register for the TA Orientation course, IDS 5921, through Student Self-Service using the CRN above. The orientation consists of a set of Canvas modules and quizzes that should be completed prior to the first day of the Fall semester.

The orientation course must be completed in full prior to the first day of the Fall semester in order to be in compliance with the Office of Graduate Studies training requirement for new TAs. The course will be open in Canvas in August 2025.
