U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM)
One of the eleven unified combatant commands of the U.S. Department of Defense. It was established in 1983. Its Area of Responsibility (AOR) includes the Middle East, including Egypt in Africa, and Central Asia and parts of South Asia.

U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM)

Institute for Russian, European and Eurasian Studies (IREES)
IREES was established to improve knowledge and understanding of Russia, Europe, and Eurasia, and to advance global education at USF. The Institute seeks to enhance the education of students in various fields and disciplines and to train the next generation of regional specialists.

No single institution in the world has expertise in all viral areas. GVN brings the best medical virologists together to leverage individual strengths and to focus global teams of scientists on key scientific problems.
