Alumni and Friends

Make a Gift

The School of Information is proud to have a talented and diverse group of alumni and friends without the support of our alumni, faculty and staff, we would not be able to support our students. You can make an immediate impact on student success or faculty research by supporting academic scholarships, study abroad scholarships, undergraduate research, faculty research/scholarship, or programs.

Support the School of Information by donating to one of the funds below.

To support and develop the programs and objectives of the Department of Library, Media, and Information Studies.

Dr. Henrietta Smith

The gift will support a School of Information faculty member whose disciplinary focus is educating students in all facets of the selection and use of quality materials for youth (preschool through senior high school) literature. This would include teaching those who will be Youth Services Librarians in public libraries or school library media centers. The support provided by this fund will aid in this faculty member's professional growth in the subject area and will include, but not limited to, research and teaching supplies, education materials, equipment and travel. Expenses for bringing authors to USF or for organizing seminars at USF are not permitted expenditures.

To secure funding for an extended marketing and recruitment program for the School of Library and Information Science. Miscellaneous expenses incurred during graduate student recruitment.

For funding Library Science continuing education.

To bring distinguished lectures for the School of Library and Information Science.

The Blackwell/Perrault scholarship was created to support students who are preparing to serve in an academic library (especially collection development or acquisitions).

This scholarship is 100% reliant on donations and is thus awarded when funding is available. It is our hope that through donations we can carry on the legacy of Dr. Anna Perrrault.
