The Rosebud Continuum, WoDakota Foundation, and INITC joined forces to explore the connections between climate change, environmental health, and well-being. Titled "Pathways to Peace," the event, held on Sunday, November 19th, from 12:00 pm to 5:30 pm, brought together people of all ages to foster open discussions and promote understanding of the key concepts through a shared cultural lens.
The event featured special Guest Chief Arvol Looking Horse, and special film screenings of "One Prayer" and "Climate Changes." Participants had the opportunity to share their perspectives, ideas, and concerns, creating a collaborative atmosphere. One of the event's highlights was the presence of Patel College of Global Sustainability Professor Thomas Henry (T.H.) Culhane, shown above. Professor Culhane brought his expertise to the table, enriching the conversations with his insights into sustainable practices and the role individuals can play in mitigating the effects of climate change.
