USF Judy Genshaft Honors College Celebrates 103 Graduates at Fall Celebration Ceremonies
Alina John, Abdul Muqeet Khawaja, Krish Veera, and Maryam Latif were honored with fall 2024 Dean's Circle of Merit Awards for their excellence in leadership, service, and global citizenship as the USF Judy Genshaft Honors College celebrated the academic achievements of 103 fall 2024 Honors graduates.

USF Honors professor Raja Benchekroun led students Amber Johnson, Ghali Omar Boutaib, and Taha Ahmed Feddoul to a successful showing at the 5th U.S. Universities Arabic Debate Competition in New York City, where they placed 12th out of 39 teams.

Chris Oueis, a fourth-year USF student, has been awarded three prestigious scholarships with support from the Office of National Scholars. A student from Lebanon, Oueis is leveraging these opportunities to pursue his dream career in public policy and international affairs.

Honors Students O’Carson Fils and Yuki Shao Recognized Among Top 25 Under 25
Outstanding Honors students O'Carson Fils and Yuki Shao were recently awarded the Muma College of Business 25 Under 25 award for their achievements and commitments to leadership, scholarship, community impact, and excellence. Both Fils and Shao aim to leverage their transformative USF experiences in their future careers.
Audrey Brandt recently started a coveted summer internship with the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary in Monterey, CA, one of the largest federally protected marine sanctuaries in the United States. Brandt's journey to California started in 2023 when she was selected for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Ernest F. Hollings Scholarship Program.
