Dr. Michael Curtis graduated with a Ph.D. in School Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin in 1974. He has been a Professor and member of the faculty in the School Psychology Program since 1993 and served as Chair of the Department of Psychological and Social Foundations from 1993 to 2000. He has been actively involved in leadership for the profession at both the state and national levels, including service to the American Psychological Association and the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP). He served as President of the NASP in 1988-89.
