Vickie Lynn, PhD, MSW, MPH, has been appointed as chair of the Master of Social Work (MSW) program. Formerly the chair of the Bachelor of Social Work program, she brings a wealth of knowledge and a passion for social work education to this role.
Lynn has also served as the faculty advisor for the MSW/MPH concurrent degree program, where she has provided invaluable guidance to students pursuing a dual focus in social work and public health. She is a co-editor of the Journal of HIV/AIDS and Social Services and an assistant professor of instruction. She blends her expertise in social work and public health in her role as an educator, advocate, and scholar, and has played an integral role in Interprofessional Education Day, where she has promoted interdisciplinary collaboration and learning experiences for social work students.
Lynn will be replacing Maayan Lawental, PhD, MSW, whose leadership and commitment have greatly contributed to the growth and success of the MSW program.
