Ji-Young Lee, Ph.D., MSPH, is an assistant professor in the Department of Mental Health Law & Policy at the 51在线. Dr. Lee earned both her Ph.D. in prevention science & community health as well as her MSPH at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. She then completed postdoctoral fellowships at the Institute of Sexual and Gender Minority Health and Wellbeing (ISGMH) at Northwestern University and at the Center of Sexuality and Health Disparities at the University of Michigan.
Dr. Lee鈥檚 training and research expertise broadly surrounds using mixed-methods designs and implementation science for HIV- and substance misuse prevention among sexual minority men, marginalized substance-using populations, and male couples. Dr. Lee鈥檚 current research aims to address mental health disparities among Asian American LGBT individuals and other LGBT persons-of-color through an intersectional lens.
Dr. Lee鈥檚 teaching focuses on applied mixed-methods research and writing for research and publication.
