Dr. DePippo's article, Women鈥檚 Addiction Treatment: The Internal Makeover, published in the Tampa Woman Magazine, examines some of the issues involved in treating addiction and co-occurring disorders. She believes that females are often an overlooked group when it comes to chemical dependency, particularly since women are so good at hiding their problems. In addition, she also believes that treating the root of the addiction is critical for lasting recovery.
