The objective of the bachelor's degree program in accountancy is to provide students with accounting and business knowledge that will serve as a basis for careers in industry, government, non-profit organizations and public accountancy.
Careers in Accounting
Career options in the accounting profession include auditing, tax, forensics, business consulting, and corporate compliance. Currently the demand for accounting graduates to fill these positions is high: 48 percent of the Lynn Pippenger School of Accountancy graduates responded that they had obtained full-time accounting positions within three months of graduation in a 2017 graduation survey.
